Educational Consulting

We provide coaching for your college age student, even if your child is in another state (or country). We interact with the students via the telephone and computer, using all the latest technology.

What will an educational coach do for your student?

  • Help your student make the most of free college services and resources
  • Consult with your child’s tutors regarding strategies for specific learning difficulties and/or ADHD
  • Career counseling
  • Provide Emotional support
  • Organizational & planning success strategies
  • Social skill learning
  • Increase self awareness, direction and motivation
  • What is the first step? Contact us and we will set up a free session with you student to see if we are a good match. If we are, we can proceed with the coaching structure.
  • We use assessments to gage where we are beginning and later to demonstrate progress
  • The initial session is roughly 45-60 minutes via telephone
  • We develop an Individual Coaching Action Plan
  • Your child will receive virtually unlimited access to the coach using email, IM, telephone and fax
  • Depending on the needs of your student, the structure varies between weekly laser sessions and/or monthly or bi-monthly in-depth sessions
  • Regardless of the plan chosen your student will have weekly—sometimes even daily—contact with their coach
  • Payment is due at the beginning of each quarter or semester

Bonus resources:

Your student will have access to our members’ only site providing additional tools:

  • Free e-courses
  • Free e-books
  • College Coaching Forum Community
  • Free tele-classes on relevant topics that facilitate growth and development
  • Opportunity for discounted group coaching (50%)
  • Discounts on products and resources (15%)

Who would benefit from educational coaching?

If your child struggles in any of the following areas, it is vital that he or she receive support while attending college to maximize your child’s potential:

  • Motivational or organizational challenges
  • Learning disabilities
  • Processing weaknesses (auditory, visual, etc.)
  • ADHD or other attentional problems
  • Boredom related to too much or not enough challenge
  • Mood disorders such as anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder (we do not provide psychotherapy, diagnose or treat these issues; rather we coach for success)
  • Speech and language disorders
  • Frequent overwhelm
  • Gifted students who haven’t had to “work” at school yet (they will in college and that can throw them in a tizzy
